Cheekily named, our product range includes - body lotions, bath & shower gels, room candles, skincare, maternity and baby, bullocks for men and our latest Living collection, for when live takes you further afield. We sell through the following channels, Cowshedonline.com, Cowshed Spas and shops, as well as department and independent retailers in the UK and internationally. Cowshed is part of Soho House Group, which owns private members clubs, restaurants, hotels and bars globally.

Head of Logistics and Supply Chain Management


Reporting To

Director, Cowshed Products Ltd.


Key Responsibilities

 
Supporting the MD with key commercial decisions. Providing statistical analysis on product sales, performance mix by categories, profitability per product per customer
Running reports from Sage by products, categories, mix of business etc
Reviewing historical data to enable the team to make
Managing the full supply chain fulfilment for our Ecommerce and Spa businesses and UK/USA and international wholesale distribution channels.Reviewing performance on a quarterly basis, presenting proposals for improvement. Whilst being aware of every departments needs and the potential effects on the business.
Managing the flow of stock from product creation to customer’s hands
Stock reconciliations and being responsible for all movements
Stock adjustments, reworks, BOM management
Packaging of new products
Managing customer booking packing requirements are adhering to them
KPI reviews
Overseeing product launches and working to on counter dates
Ensuring procedures are being followed throughout the supply chain
Responsible setting up the stock modules and SOP for two IT systems, Microsoft Dynamics and Sage 200 for both the UK and this year USA
Ownership of the stock module, creating products, discounts, barcodes, categories for reporting.
Customer modules, discounts, department set ups
Purchasing and maintaining optimum stock levels. Strategically forecasting to meet demands by analysing sales, stock turn, promotional/seasonal activity and keeping within budget constraints.
Working closely with the NPD team, ensuring costs are met and optimum MOQ is being ordered and forecasts have been collated from each department.
Assessing basic stock level reports on a weekly basis, working with all departments to ensure appropriate stock cover on many different levels
Supporting targeted sales
Stock forecasting
Knowledge of seasonal/xmas gifting activities and processes
Purchase order management and working closely with the finance to minimise stock investment. 
Forecasting Globally
Planning large purchase orders as the business grows
Careful ordering to ensure cash flow is spread out according to the business needs
Experience with working with multi brands/suppliers for both Wholesale and Spa businesses
Support the internal business and spa business, suggesting orders, assisting with forecasting. Regularly reviewing procedures to improve efficiencies.
Support spas and Soho house openings; ensure amenities supply is on track.
Support and knowledge of working with flagship retailers in key markets (UK- John Lewis, Selfridges, Heals, QVC, etc.; US- Barneys, Bloomingdales, Sephora, etc)
Support and knowledge of working with concession model in retailers
Contract negotiation/ Sourcing new and maintaining strong supplier relationships – frequently reviewing business performances. Optimising the opportunities to bring new concepts to the brand/s. continuingly assessing ways to lower costs whilst keeping the integrity of the brand/s and products.
Actively seeking opportunities to add value to the supply chain
Sourcing new suppliers for repeat orders of accessories
Ensuring suppliers follow our requirements for delivery, packaging etc
Support and mentoring my assistant

Bicester village- experiences with pop up stores
Suggesting what to sell, best prices, setting up the till system, weekly delivery schedules and the whole management of logistics from beginning to end.

COWSHED USA SALES MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

A New York based position, based out of the Soho House central office; you will be responsible for developing accounts in the USA, which is a new market for Cowshed. You will need to maximise revenues, delivering on annual sales budgets and lead upcoming strategic opportunities. You will be expected to identify and prioritise new distribution opportunities and manage the sales cycle through to completion, as well as growing the business, developing and executing successful long term business strategies, capitalizing on trends while keeping in line with the Cowshed brand. There will be a high level of client interaction so building and maintaining strong relationships is a fundamental part of this role.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Formation of key accounts

Delivering strategic growth plan – envisioning the future, recognizing opportunities and forming a clear vision of the Cowshed in the USA.
Thinking strategically – taking a broad view, drawing information from diverst sources and finding meaningful connections to drive the business in the right direction to carve out a comfortable space for Cowshed in the US market place.  
Maximizing revenue by ensuring retailer forecasts and commercially maximizes retail sales.
Proactively improve retail performance in wholesale doors through training, merchandising and organizing events.
Negotiation of contract renewals.
Building relationships at all levels within the retailer’s organization.
Presenting the 6 monthly business overview and development presentations.
Working closely with NPD manager to deliver the agreed NPD launch plan.
Working closely with the Director in the development of programs that increase awareness, trial, conversion, retention, brand equity and ROI.
Sales analysis and forecasting.
Project manage all point of sale material.
Stock level optimization.
Financial management of revenue stream.


Generation of new US business

Identifying new distribution opportunities that are best for brand.
Negotiating contracts.
Developing launch plans, working closely with NPD and Supply Chain to achieve scheduled delivery.
Working with PR to launch the brand in each new account.
Financial management of new sales revenue.


Develop online e-retailers in the US (in collaboration with the E-commerce Manager).

US Market analysis to direct the NPD manager into the strongest product categories.

Eventual build and management of US sales team

Training and Merchandising

Training sales staff to ensure they are on brand
Training sales staff to merchandise correctly and in line with brand
Ensure all outlets are merchandised on brand
Come up with planograms to roll out in multiple doors to ensure continuity with Cowshed sales presentation 

GENERAL

To be a brand ambassador for cowshed – good personal presentation and professionalism integral to the role
Detail oriented, efficient and good at multi tasking
Team player who can work well with multiple different people
Strong experience with distribution in the US market and key retailers/buyers
Provide support to all stores/spas during events/trade and retail shows in USA
Organize sales meetings
Must be flexible to travel if necessary

BEAUTY THERAPISTS
Experienced full time therapists, with qualifications equivalent to a minimum NVQ Level 3, required to start immediately.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who possess a real passion, pride in their work and have excellent customer service skills:

A caring and can-do attitude
A high standard of personal presentation
Retail sales experience desirable
Fluent level of spoken English
An understanding of the demands of the Hospitality Industry is essential
Flexible and able to do shift work (based on a rolling rota) working evenings and weekends, as we operate between 
8.30-21:00 daily

Eligible to work in the UK, have all relevant certification (minimum NVQ3 or equivalent) and hold a UK bank account
