Our products are handmade using premium quality natural ingredients.

Petals, leaves, bark and roots are sun-dried and infused before being added in drops into each Cowshed product. A single drop of our trademark infusion of herbs and flowers hand picked from the Victorian walled garden goes into every Cowshed formula.

In addition to expertly blended pure essential oils, herbal infusions and flower waters, Cowshed products contain countless other nourishing and nurturing natural ingredients. Never compromising on quality, we select cold pressed, extra virgin and other premium grade oils to ensure their essential vitamin and naturally replenishing fatty acid content are not lost as they would be with oils of a lesser quality.

To ensure maximum efficacy of Cowshed products and spa treatments, our formulas contain ratios of pure essential oils which are active enough to provide the benefits the range is renowned for. In this instance, it's both the quality and quantity of our therapeutic ingredients that matter and are the very essence of Cowshed.

Our formulas are 100% vegetarian and contain no animal products other than organic beeswax and wild flower honey.

Cowshed is firmly against the practise of using animals to test ingredients or finished products. Therefore, we use suppliers that can confirm the materials we use have not been tested since 1988.

Our products contain no petrochemicals.
